Why should I care?
As if games aren't enough, Saloondria also features dozens of abstracts, including thoughtfully written short stories, detailed pieces of art, and thoughtful world building.
These stories and arts are set with familiar fantasy themes, but push the envelope by imagining how a magic-fueled world might face the implications of disastrous real-life phenomena, such as colonization, plague, isotopic radiation, and capitalism.
These stories will continue to be released for the next few months leading up to the premiere of our next game set in this world.
How do I follow along?
The most direct way to read these stories will be through the HFB Tales Archives, where a story set in the world of Saloondria will be posted once or twice a week, with any accompanying art.
But we'll also be sharing these stories in alternate presentations and unique content to other platforms, like this newspaper clipping that was posted to reddit's r/worldbuilding. So be sure to follow along on our other channels so you don't miss out!
And as for that game we mentioned...
